Since the first year that rap was created in the Bronx the Female MC has been fighting to get into the predominately male dominated game. 

Obstacles that Female MC'S must face that shouldn't matter but just because they are female the industry influences them to follow a strict designed template in order to take them to the next level. 3. COLOR -    I hate to report this one, but they would much rather push a lighter skin artist then                                one with darker skin.

4.DANCE -   They expect the female artist to dance around twerk and gyrate, (for male artist it                                 don't matter)

5. SEXUAL CONTENT - More women actually buy albums then men but labels still want                                                           female artist to sell more sexually infused lyrics to men then ever.                                                         (for male artist it don't matter)

Not to Fret tho in this modern age, of digital sales technology and social media marketing the Female MC'S no longer has to compromise her ethics or sell her soul and body to get into a market that contains many wolves at the top. Break the cookie cutter perception of what a female MC'S is suppose to be and form a new perception that covers all types of women and lifestyles. 

Women are beautiful in all shades & from all walks of life and this needs to be displayed in the music. If HIP HOP or RAP is  to remain a true art form that represents the REAL then we must be willing to except that not all women are 10's or what we deem perfect body shape, not all women are just sex crazed one dimensional lyricists. We must as fans artist and supporters of the movement push to break the stereotypes of what female MC's should be and except them for what they really are. 

THEY ARE AN EQUAL COUNTERPART - TREAT THEM AND RESPECT THEM THAT WAY AND JUDGE THEM BY THE TALENT THEY HAVE NOT SOLELY BY THE LOOKS.
